CRPR developed a national public relations program to introduce the futuristic work and exciting design concepts of this world-class architect to the United States. The campaign focused on Boeing’s commission of the IMAX Theater addition to the Pacific Science Center in Seattle, Washington. Laming is renowned for his work as chief architect for the celebrated Futuroscope in Poitiers, France and for his reconceptualization plan for the grounds of The Palace of Versailles, France.
Our objective was and is to build awareness of the Pilgrim Chamber Players as a not-for-profit ensemble of professional musicians whose programs offer an exciting blend of new music and old favorites and features guest artists from the CSO and Lyric Orchestra. Our success is measured by highlighting each concert through the media and building audience.
Our goal was to promote and publicize the works by acclaimed photographer Jane Fulton Alt. Our mission was to build attendance for the reception and exhibition Look and Leave: New Orleans in the Wake of Hurricane Katrina at DePaul University Art Museum and a second exhibition The Treatment Room at Chicago Artropolis, Chicago’s Merchandise Mart. We arranged media coverage for both events and both exhibitions were well attended.
CRPR developed a public relations campaign designed to generate interest and build attendance at the annual Little City annual Spirit Awards Dinner. We focused on the wonderful works created by the developmentally challenged artists in the Little City Art Center. The project resulted in extensive media coverage and the establishment of a design studio for artists at Little City.
Unifem is the United Nations’ Development Fund for Women. Our objective was to build an audience for the screening of Beyond Belief (a film by Beth Murphy) as well as to raise funds for the Unifem Chicago Chapter. Beyond Belief is an award-winning documentary of personal strength and international reconciliation.
CRPR promoted and publicized a one-of-kind concert performed by black
Jewish Gospel singer, Joshua Nelson at Northwestern’s Thorne Auditorium. Our mission was to build an audience for the this event and to highlight the innovative programs sponsored by Congregation Kol Ami.The concert was a tremendous success: wide media coverage and a diverse well attended audience.
The Recycle the Raindrops program was developed to promote the residential use of rain barrels in Chicago and to raise awareness of both local and global water issues. By recruiting artists to paint the barrels, the project also has a public art element. Our ultimate goal is to place the decorative rain barrels is high-traffic pedestrian areas. CRPR created and produced this Water Forum in an effort to educate the public about this environmental challenge. Our office researched water issues and worked closely with Global Green and Green Cross International. We established the location: DePaul University Art Museum, obtained Leonardo DiCaprio’s DVD Water Planet and enlisted a distinguished panel of experts to discuss simple ways people can use water wisely.
Sponsored by the Lincoln Park Neighbors United for Peace and the DePaul University Art Museum, CRPR obtained the film and designed a campaign to generate attendance at this heart wrenching film and draw attention to this remarkable exhibit. We contacted target print and electronic media to arrange feature placements.
Our goal was to promote the work of Lincoln Park Neighbors United for Peace by highlighting a screening of the documentary "War Made Easy" narrated by Sean Penn. Through our contacts with the media, we arranged media coverage which resulted in a well-attended event.
